Geoff Chaplin

Managing Director

Geoff joined WIS in 2002 as Managing Director and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company. With over 20 years senior management experience in Retail Operations in the UK and USA, Geoff understands only too well the needs of the retailer and how to build effective customer focused teams. It is this understanding that defines the company as it strives to provide the best possible stock take service in the UK and across Europe. Geoff is determined that WIS will be the standard bearer for service excellence and world class accuracy.

Amanda Bowers

Head of Human Resources

As Head of Human Resources Amanda oversees all Human Resource and Business Support functions for WIS in Europe. Since joining WIS in August 2001 she has been integral in establishing and developing the framework for the HR and Business Support function. Prior to joining WIS, the first 10 years of her career were spent in Senior Operations roles in the Hospitality Industry. It is this experience in running large scale operations that’s gives Amanda a fantastic understanding of what Operations need so helping to deliver a more effective and business focused HR function. Amanda is a Fellow of the CIPD, and a certified Practitioner in NLP.

Steve Simmonds

Head of Sales and Marketing

Coming from a background in Retail Operations and Stock Control, Steve brings to WIS and its clients over 20 years experience of working at a senior level dealing with the issues retailers deal with every day. Steve joined WIS in 2006 as Head of Sales & Marketing as the person responsible for all new business development and the marketing of WIS, considerable success has been achieved as the need for a plain speaking honest approach to stocktaking has shown through. Building relationships with new clients through the understanding of their particular needs and being able to draw on experience gained is a key part of Steve’s role as WIS continues to grow and expand across Europe.

Diane Wilson

Diane Wilson

Head of National Accounts

Diane started with WIS in 2001 after many years spent in senior management positions in fashion retail. During her first 10 years with WIS, Diane has been heavily involved in operations gaining a vast knowledge of the industry through varying roles, latterly running all our UK offices. Moving to her current position of National Accounts Manager in 2011, Diane brings all her inventory knowledge to enhance the customer service experience. In Operations, Diane played a fundamental part in the development of WIS UK and now In National Accounts, she continues to play a key role in the delivery of superior customer service as WIS expands into Europe.
